COS prevented LPS-induced intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) production in RAW264.7 cells. The cells were treated with 1 μg/mL LPS for 24 h in the presence or absence of 500 μg/mL COS for 24 h. In addition, the cells were treated with 1 μg/mL LPS for 24 h in the presence or absence of 1 mM ROS scavenger (NAC) for 1 h. DCFH-DA was used for detecting ROS generation.
