Experimental design of psychophysical stress by immobilization used to assess profiles of mitochondrial dynamics markers expression in the whole adrenal gland, the adrenal cortex, and adrenal medulla. Previously published results [19] showed that IMO stress induces an increase of circulating adrenaline (A) and corticosterone (B) levels, and in the same time a decrease of androgens (T+DHT) levels (C). Statistical significance was set at level of p < 0.05: * vs. control group and # vs. 1 × IMO group.
