Summary of proposed objective criteria for definition of glaucomatous optic neuropathy (GON) by Iyer et al. An eye with definite GON would have corresponding damage on optical coherence tomography (OCT) and standard automated perimetry (SAP) according to either one of the criteria below, after exclusion of non-glaucomatous conditions that could cause such abnormalities.
