This is an anterior ankle needle arthroscopic view of the left ankle. One can observe that the syndesmotic joint has been stabilized after suture button fixation. The adequateness of the stabilization is confirmed by applying intra-articular pressure with the probe into the syndesmosis; hence, confirming an adequate stabilization. The dynamic extra-articular external rotation stress test can also be repeated to confirm stabilization.
