And the corresponding heat maps of three greyscale US (b) and biopsy WSIs (d) in a luminal tumor from a 55-year-old woman with invasive ductal carcinoma mixed with 15% micropapillary carcinoma. The most valuable locations on US images were the boundary of the tumor and low echo area inside the tumor. The US images from different views provided complementary information which contributed to differentiate results for each lesion. In terms of WSIs, the areas that were deemed most valuable were the ones containing both apparently invasive carcinoma and abundant collagenous stroma.
