Metabolism of perhexiline in individual CYP-overexpressing HepG2 cells. Fourteen individual CYP-overexpressing HepG2 cell lines were treated with 5 μM perhexiline for 24 h. The cell extracts were then subjected to mass spectrometry to determine the abundance of perhexiline and its two major metabolites cis-OH-Phx and trans-OH-Phx.
