Plotted is the Kaplan-Meier life-table analysis for each eye with the probability of success vs follow-up time (error bars represent the standard error). There is a statistically significant difference between the survival curves using both the Log-Rank (Mantel-Cox) and the Gehan-Breslow-Wilcoxon tests (p = 0.02). The rate of surgical failure is significantly higher in patients of non-White British ethnicity (Hazard Ratio 45.0 (95% CI: 1.3–18.8)).
