a

Groups of 6- to 9-week-old female outbred nude mice were given MAb to IFN-γ or 300 U of anti IFN-α/β or both antibodies. Mice treated with MAb GL113 were used as controls. The mice were infected i.v. with 106 PFU of virus on day 0 and sacrificed 5 days later for determination of virus titers in organs. These experiments were repeated twice, with reproducible results.
