CI: confidence interval; ESRD: end-stage renal disease

A

Bold indicates significance at p<0.05

B

Interaction term between year and data which when significant suggests a difference in BMI slopes between the ESRD and general population. The beta for ‘year’ captured the slope of BMI increase among the general population, the ‘ESRD population’ indicator captured the effect of ESRD on BMI, and the ‘Year*ESRD’ indicator captured the ESRD-specific slope of BMI increase. A significant interaction term indicated a difference in rate of BMI change between the ESRD and general populations.
