a

Six- to eight-week-old female Lewis rats were infected i.v. with 107 PFU of VV-BDV recombinants and killed 6 days later. Values of specific lysis are mean values.

b

Results shown for effector/target cell ratios of 30:1, 10:1, 3:1, and 1:1, respectively.

c

NL, noninfected F10 cells.

d

Experiments were performed independently. Two animals were infected with the respective VV-BDV recombinant in all experiments.

e

Boldface values indicate VV-BDV recombinant-specific lysis of BDV-infected F10 target cells.
