Targeting macrophage receptor-ligand interactions. Macrophage functions are regulated by various receptor-ligand interactions, which have been grouped according to their roles in macrophages: regulating macrophage cell recruitment, modulating phagocytic activity, activating macrophage immune functions, inhibiting macrophage immune functions, and regulating macrophage fibrotic activity.
