DSF alleviates MPTP-induced PD. (AH) Mice (n = 3 mice/gp) were injected intraperitoneally with DSF or vehicle 24 h before and every other day after intraperitoneal challenge with MPTP hydrochloride, followed by histopathological (BE) and immunoblot (F) analysis of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) in striatum and substantia nigra biopsies from mice brain tissues or motor ability test (G and H) on day 7. Quantification of TH-positive neurons was performed by optical density measurement using ImageJ software (C and E).
