Deletion of A34R or B5R has severe effects on IEV assembly. Cells were infected with the virus strain indicated on the left and labeled with antibodies against the viral marker A27L and the IEV protein A33R as indicated at the top. In all cases, arrowheads indicate IEV particles that label for both A27L and A33R.
