The patients complaints and serum lipase responded well on prednisolone but recurred after tapering despite adding mycophenolate mofetil. However, after adding tacrolimus, prednisolone could be completely stopped. After two attempts, tacrolimus could also be completely stopped and thus far no new episodes of pancreatitis has occurred.
