Kir4.1 immunoreactivity reduction in fB−/− mice. Propidium iodide (PI) was used to counterstain cell nuclei. (B) A significantly reduced Kir4.1 immunoreactivity was seen in the middle and basal stria vascularis of the fB−/− mice. Data bars represent the mean; error bars represent SEM. n = 6 and 5 cochleas for the middle turn in WT and fB−/− group, respectively; n = 7 and 5 cochleas for the basal turn WT and fB−/− group, respectively.
