Query module. The Query Module is a researcher interface for retrieving pharmacy orders after the Matching Cache has been created by the Matching Module. The user inputs a list of drug keywords related to the pharmacy orders they want returned (eg, generic names, brand names, ATC codes). RxNorm is then used to determine the list of concept identifiers (CUI) that relate to the user input. The pharmacy orders with potential matches to the CUI list are then identified through a process of back-matching. Outputs are condensed and validated by manual review. False positives may be altered in the Matching Cache to improve precision in future queries.
