Use of pc-ASPECTS (posterior circulation acute stroke prognosis early computed tomography scoring) to assess posterior circulation. There are eight areas of assessment. A point is lost for early ischaemic change in each of thalamic, cerebellar, and occipital lobes; and 2 points lost for pontine and midbrain changes.
