For each antibody, the top row indicates the count of immunostained cells in each layer, expressed as a percentage of all GFP+ cells in the same sections. The SEM is indicated in parenthesis. The bottom row expresses the same counts as a percentage of all GFP+ cells in the same layer. Empty cells indicate that no GFP+ neurons were found. N = 3 mice for each antibody in each genotype; most brains were used for 2–3 antibodies each. The bottom block in the table indicates counts of immunostained cells expressed as a percentage of all SOM cells (GFP+ and tdTomato+) counted in each brain, averaged over all genotypes, N = 12 mice/antibody. These data are plotted in Figure 6.
