The temporal distribution of days that were labeled with each menstrual cycle phase according to hormone data. The progression of the horizontal axis begins with the menstrual phase. The average duration of each phase across all participants was as follows: menstrual = 5.6 ± 1.6 days, late-follicular = 11.0 ± 6.1 days, ovulation = 5.9 ± 0.5 days, and luteal = 11.8 ± 3.0 days.
