Pyrophosphatase activities in the 15,000 × g pellet, and the 1st and 2nd gradient acidocalcisome preparations were 0.22 ± 0.09, 15.6 ± 3.2, and 22.6 ± 2.1 μmol min−1 mg−1 protein, respectively (mean ± SD) (reproduced from Huang et al.
