Gelsevirine (GS) does not provide further protection in STING-deficient mice when exposed to CLP. GS (20 mg/kg) was administrated in 2-month-old STING-deficient mice 5 hrs after CLP surgery. The survival rate was recorded and calculated (A). 15 hrs after the CLP surgery, lungs, and blood were harvested.
