Flow cytometric analysis of mononuclear cells expressing CD34 and Thy-1 during primary SIV infection. Freshly isolated mononuclear cells from the colon epithelium and thymuses of uninfected and SIV-infected rhesus macaques at 2 and 4 weeks p.i. were stained for CD34 and CDw90 (Thy-1) antigens and analyzed by flow cytometry.
