RSV replication in platelets is limited. CD41+CD45− platelets were gated as shown in Fig. 1. Untreated or UV-inactivated RSV-GFP was added to washed platelets from healthy donors (n=2) at a concentration of 0.1 PFUVero per platelet and incubated for up to 2 days.
