Values with an asterisk have been shown to be statistically different (P < 0.05) from the value for pBM 129-1 by ANOVA. The data collected for the SalI and NheI sites were compared to initial data from a construct containing an insert with only a SalI and NheI site inserted into the MluI site of pBM 129-1. The initial values for these sites are 32 ± 1 and 32 ± 3 for the SalI and NheI sites, respectively (data not shown).
