Scenario 3

A 34-year-old mother of two children who has completed her family presents with recurrent migraines that are not responsive to initial treatment with simple analgesia. She has trialled and failed three oral migraine prophylactic agents. She believes that the number of migraine days now exceeds the number of days without migraines; she notes that their frequency is now affecting her quality of life.
