a Growth of strain JH545 on various carbon compounds that were predicted to require COG4948 enzymes for metabolization. Carbon compounds were added to the ASW5x media (Supplementary Table 1) at a final concentration of 250 μM. Carbon mixture-only, no additional carbon compounds were added, except for carbon mixture already included in the ASW5x media. The incubation was performed in dark at 20 °C. All experiments were performed in triplicates. Data are presented as mean values ± SEM. Note that the error bars are hidden when they are shorter than the size of the symbols.
