HIV-1 replication on activated CCR2 +/+, CCR5 Δ32/Δ32, and CCR2-64I/64I PBMC. PBMC from CCR5 +/+ CCR2 +/+, CCR5 Δ32/Δ32, CCR2 +/+, and CCR5 +/+ CCR2 64I/64I donors were activated for 3 days with PHA–IL-2 and infected at low MOI with T-tropic (SF33) or M-tropic (JR.FL, MJM, and JDC) primary HIV-1 isolates.
