Schematic of a microfluidic chamber. Fabrication of a microfluidic chamber with surfaces that function as sensor arrays can be constructed using a glass slide, glass coverslip, double sided tape, and epoxy (Roy, Hohng, & Ha, 2008). Negative pressure can be applied to the outlet tubing using a syringe in order to flow the added liquid through the channel.
