Definition of genotypes in hexaploidy allelic state. Five allelic states in hexaploid persimmon, AAAAAa (pentaplex), AAAAaa (quadruplex), AAAaaa (triplex), AAaaaa (duplex), and Aaaaaa (simplex), are uniformly defined as ‘heterozygous’ in diploidized genotypes. GWASpoly can set thresholds of allele dosages in the dominant model and determine the quantitative effects of allele dosages in the additive model.
