Killing activity of Lcb. rhamnosus CRL 2244 on A. baumannii AB5075. (A) Cells grew overnight and combined in a 1:1 ratio (B) Overnight cultures of both cells in 1:1 ratio with addition of fresh medium. Both conditions were incubated at 37 °C for 24 h and CFU/mL were determined at different incubation times for a period of 24 h. All assays were carried out in duplicate. Statistical significance (P < 0.05) was determined by two-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s multiple comparison test. Significance of co-culture vs CRL2244 and co-culture vs AB5075 was indicated by: * P < 0.05, ** P < 0.01, *** P < 0.001 and **** P < 0.0001.
