The cumulative curve of the Z score (blue line) crossed naïve boundary (parallel brown line), which reflected that the difference of the incidence of POUR between the two groups were statistically significant. However, the curve did not cross the upper sequential boundary (red curved line) nor reach the required information size (RIS) (red longitudinal line), which indicated that the pooled results failed to support the benefit of alpha blockers due to the limited sample size.
