Partial synthetic approach of 71 reported by Skinner [33] and Kozela [44]. i: Acetic anhydride, pyridine, r.t. 2h; ii: BH3, THF, 0 °C, 1 h, then Me3N+O−·2H2O, reflux 2 h; iii: NaOH(1M), MeOH, 2 h; iv: p-TSA, hexane, 72h; v: SeO2, ethanol, 24 h; vi: Pd/C, H2 (1 atm), 24 h methanol.
