A positive difference is a higher MIC of the antibiotic incubated in a CO2- enriched atmosphere; a negative difference is a higher MIC of the antibiotic incubated aerobically. Strains were tested for log2 differences of between −7 and 11; however, no differences of −7 to −4 or 6 to 11 were found.
