Inbreeding through time and space. Violin plots of individual percentages of genome in RoH across the six major black rhinoceros populations were divided into size classes to investigate inbreeding at three sequential timeframes of the recent past. Allowing for a generation time of 24 years equates to inbreeding between 517–1,032 (A), 207–516 (B), and 0–206 years (C) for the small, medium, and large FRoH size classes, respectively.
