1. DPC reversal kinetics of indicated variants in ssDNA, DNA junction and dsDNA. DPCs were pre‐formed in ssDNA before corresponding reverse oligonucleotides were annealed (for ssDNA reactions, a non‐complementary oligonucleotide was added). DPC reversal was then monitored after incubation for the indicated amount of time at 37°C using denaturing SDS–PAGE.
