Eighty-four C. neoformans isolates were tested by the microdilution methodology in broth in antibiotic medium 3. Isolates CN 1 to CN 12 were tested the indicated number of times (N), while the 72 clinical isolates were tested once each. MICs were determined after 48 and 72 h of incubation.

b

S, susceptible; R, resistant.

Range, range of MICs; Geo M, geometric mean MIC; Mode, modal MIC.
