Effect of FNPs on the mRNA expression of inflammatory and cartilage-related genes in IL-1β pretreated human chondrocytes. Cells were stimulated for 5 h with IL-1β (10 ng/mL) and then treated with FNPs (50 μg/mL) or fisetin (7.5 μg/mL) for 48 h. The IL-1β group was stimulated with IL-1β (10 ng/mL) for 5 h only and the control group received no treatment. The mRNA expression levels of SOX9 (A), Collagen ΙΙ (B), SirT1 (C), TNF-α (D), IL-6 (E), and IL-10 (F) were assayed by qRT-PCR.
