Three knots at the 25th, 50th, and 75th percentiles were used to model the association between plasma D-dimer and composite kidney progression outcome, using restricted cubic splines. Model was adjusted for sex, age, proteinuria, MAP, eGFR and Oxford classification (MEST-C scores). the reference value was set at the medians.
