Ridge regression of RGR using scaled metabolite level data as predictor variables for the 241 accessions and at the two different growth temperatures examined in this study. Coefficients of the 37 metabolites, signifying their importance, at the T = 16 °C and T = 6 °C were correlated at r = 0.52 (P = 0.0012). Metabolites are sorted in ascending order of coefficients for T = 6 °C. The regularization parameter lambda was determined in cross-validation and taken as the value associated with the observed minimum error in cross-validation.
