Mostly in-plane motion under (A), combined in-plane and through-plane motion under (B). Comparable motion trajectories (standard deviation of motion difference < 0.31 mm/°) were estimated by both methods yielding similar reconstructed image quality improvement (c.f. orange and yellow arrows) and final data consistency error (DC). Fully separable motion optimization in SAMER resulted in ~300x smaller computation time.
