mRNA expression of major ECMs in 2D cultured human corneal stroma fibroblasts (HCSFs). During a 6-day culture, 2D cultured HCSF monolayers were created either in the absence or presence of 1 nM or 5 nM TGF-β2, and the ECM mRNA expression including COL1, COL4, COL6, FN, and αSMA was measured by qPCR analyses. Fresh preparations were used in duplicate for each experiment (n = 5, each).
