Men are solid markers and Women are open markers. (See Eqs. 7 and 8 for BSA and acclimatization.) The number of participants/observations were for unacclimatized men (24/101), unacclimatized women (26/89), acclimatized men (21/121), and acclimatized women (9/55). The effects for acclimatization state and sex were significant (P < 0.0001), but only BSA was reported due to the relationship between BSA and sex.
