Microplastic category	Physical characteristics
Fragments	Uneven form, sharp, thick, charred edge
Granules	Typically circular in form
Filaments	Extremely small, short, and sometimes long
Pellets	Usually flat on one side, but with a round appearance.
Films	Supple and thin
Foams	Soft, yellow to white in color
Fibers	Circular shape, the length is significantly greater than the flexible, thin breadth.
