This meta-analysis was conducted according to current consensus guidelines for CBMAs and the PRISMA guidelines. Five databases were systematically searched from 2001 (which was chosen as the earliest date for studies with sufficient quality) to 22 October 2020, retrieving 49 eligible studies.
