HSG (i.e. tubal flushing) with an oil-soluble contrast medium is preferable over a water-soluble contrast medium. Risks and benefits of tubal flushing with oil-soluble contrast medium should be discussed with all couples with unexplained infertility (Wang et al., 2020). |
