Baseline MRI at the time of SRS (left) to a 2.5 cm partially cystic olfactory meningioma shows mild edema. At 20 months (center), 5-Loxin was initiated after patient failed trimodal therapy to control ARE (imaging changes including central necrosis, rim of parenchymal enhancement, increased bifrontal edema). At 31 months (right), MRI shows marked improvement of AREs (perilesional edema decreased 87%, tumor volume decreased 73%).
