Body mass index calculated as weight in kilograms divided by height in meters squared and categorized as normal weight (18.5–24.9), overweight (25.0–29.9), and obesity (30.0). Waist circumference categorized as normal (≤88 cm) and high (>88 cm) for women, as normal (≤102 cm) and high (>102 cm) for men.

Model 1: No covariates were adjusted; Model 2: Age, race/ethnicity, education, smoking and drinking status were adjusted; Model 3: Model 2 + hypertension and hyperlipidemia status.

WC, Waist circumference; BMI, Body mass index.
