a A linear relationship existed between ELN and logit N stage, variance inflation factors between independent variables were less than 10.

b Residuals with uniform variances were approximately normally distributed and had no autocorrelation. Correlation coefficients between independent variables were less than 0.7 and variance inflation factors were less than 10.
