As measured in seconds, on single core of a 2.10GHz Intel Xeon E5-2683 v4 CPU, with 240GB of RAM. Final cell numbers are given in parentheses for the tissue growth and tissue collision scenarios. Cell numbers are constant for the void closure simulations. For the OS model, the low boundary resolution is the repulsion model, the default boundary resolution in the short-range interaction model and the high boundary resolution is the long-range interaction model. For the VT model, the low boundary resolution is the unbounded model, the default boundary resolution is the bounded model and the high boundary resolution is the ghost node model. For the VM, the low boundary resolution is the smooth model, the default boundary resolution is the default model and the high boundary resolution is the curved model
