Pathological examinations of rat organs 24 h after injection of ultrafine bubbles of ozone (ozone-UFB) in normal saline solution (NSS) or NSS into the right part of the thoracic cavity (hematoxylin eosin stain, 10 × 10). There were no significant inflammatory changes in the right lower lung, heart, liver, or kidney in either the rats treated with ozone-UFBs or NSS.
